WHAT IS SPORTS MASSAGE?
Think of sports massage as a muscle specific, deep tissue massage. Sports massage can help with mobility pre-event or with recovery post-event. Many people routinely get sports massage to help prevent injuries and keep their bodies primed for all sorts of movement.
You DO NOT need to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage. People from all walks of life who want to feel better in their day-to-day activities can be helped by sports massage.
WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING STYLE?
Just as the name says, training should be personal and specific to the individual’s needs. Unique plans are created just for you and available in person or virtually. It is important to help clients gain strength through functional movement using various modalities such as bodyweight, barbells and kettlebells.
DO YOU OFFER IN-HOME?
Yes, in-home, concierge sessions, are available by request. We want to make things convenient and easy for you!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME IN?
It depends! With massage, everybody is different. After the initial session, a treatment plan is created by your therapist that can include “homework,” self-care routines, strength training, and additional massage sessions. Each person has their own unique treatment plan.
For personal training all clients are required to maintain AT LEAST 2 training sessions a week (although we recommend 3). We want you to be committed to results and consistency is extremely important to help you see and feel change.
